Potensi budidaya PTT inpara 1 dan indragiri lahan sub optimal Waeapo, Buru(Potency ICM inpara land Indragiri l on sub optimal land Waeapo, Buru)

Kajian dilaksanakan di Desa Debowae, Waeapo, Kabupaten Buru MT 2011 untuk mengetahui pengaruh pupuk organik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi lahan sub-optimal. Luas yang digunakan satu ha. Perlakuannya adalah penggunaan pupuk organik sapi. Perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Takaran pupuk organik tiga ton per ha.Varietas digunakan adalah padi Inpara I dan lndragiri, dari Balai Besar Padi Sukamandi. Budidaya dengan teknologi model Pengelolaan Tanaman Terpadu (PTT). Pupuk anorganik 300 kg NPK Phonska, dan 200 kg urea, setengah bagian urea diberikan bersamaan seluruh NPK Phonska umur tujuh hst dan sisa urea diberikan umur 24 hst dan 38 hst. Parameter yang diukur adalah sifat fisik dan kimia tanah, komponen pertumbuhan, dan hasil tanaman. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata produktivitas padi dengan pupuk organik dikombinasikan pupuk anorganik dan pemakaian varietas adaptif adalah Indragiri (7,61) t ha-l dan varietas Inpara 1 (7,48) t ha-1 secara statistik menunjukkan perbedaan nyata. Sementara hasil petani rata-rata 2,6 t ha-1 ha ditanam secara tanam benih langsung dan (2,9) t ha-l ha yang ditanam secara tanam pindah dari persemaian (Study conducted in Debowae Village, Waeapo District, Buru in growing season 2011 determine effect manure on growth and yield rice in sub-optimal area. Land area used covered one hectare. Manure derived from cow used as treatment. Each treatment repeated three times. Manure dose three ton per ha of cow applied Two swamp rice varieties, Inpara 1 and Indragiri obtained from Indonesian Center for Rice Research at Sukamandi. These varieties cultivated under recommended technology model of Integrated CropManagement (ICM). Inorganic fertilizers applied at rate 300 kg NPK Phonska and 200 kg Urea per ha by applying half dose Urea together with full dose NPK Phonska at seven days after sowing rice, while remaining half Urea appfied at 24 and 38 days after sowing. Parameters measured included soil physical and chemical properties, growth and yield component rice. Results showed average rice productivity obtained through use combination both organic and inorganic fertilizers and use recommended adaptive variety Indragiri and Inpara 1 for sub optimal land was 7.61 t per ha and 7.48 t per ha, respectively. Farmers' behaviour in the implementation of component ptt (integrated plant and Resource management) in irrigation paddy rice fields farming in buru regency Maluku Province Indonesia

Research on farmers' behavior in the application of PTT components (Integrated Plant and Resource Management) has been conducted on irrigated rice farming in Buru regency, Maluku province. This study aims to determine the farmers' behavior in applying components of PTT on irrigation paddy rice field. The measurement level of technology adoption by farmers was assessed for compliance with PTT technology approach recommended and was given a score on each aspect of the technology applied. The results of this research showed that the behavior of farmers in applying the PTT component irrigated paddy rice field was categorized as medium level (72.17 % of the recommended), while for each PTT component elements such as excelent varieties and seed were categorized as medium level (69.79 % of the recommended), planting as the moderate level (69.24 % of the recommended), inorganic fertilizer as high level (80.28 % of the recommended), organic fertilization as the moderate level (74.72 % of the recommended), control of HPT was categorized as high level (97.01 % of the recommended), weed control was caregorized as high level (85.42 % of the recommended) and harvest and post-harvest handling were categorized as high level (95.93 % of the recommended). The Effects Of The Concentration Of Brown Sugar And The Comparison Of Cassava (Dioscorea Alata) Pasta Proportion To The Making Of "Dodol"(Indonesian Food)

Cassava (Dioscorea alata) also known as "ubi"/"uwi" by local people have been used as a food source in the region of Maluku Indonesia. The potential for the cassava proliferation include in Western Southeast Maluku of 5,879 tons, Southeast Maluku of 3,296 tons, Central Maluku of 3,366 tons, Buru of 2,614 tons, West Seram of 1,410 tons, East Seram and Aru Islands of 754 and 671 tons. In general, cassavas Dioscorea alata in Maluku are only sold in the form of a pile at a price of between Rp 5000-10000 per stack and then processed in a simple method such making boiled-cassava or compote with sweet coconut milk, etc. One potential development effort is processing the cassavas Dioscorea alata pasta to produce "dodol". In relation to the making "dodol", the purpose of this activity was to determine the effect of the proportion of cassava pasta Dioscorea alata and brown sugar concentration on the quality and consumer acceptance to the products of Dioscorea alata "dodol". This study was conducted in Kamarian village, Sub-district of Kairatu, West Seram, Post-Harvest Institute for Agricultural Technology Laboratory Maluku and Center of Industry Ambon within January to December 2012. The study was designed by using a complete randomized design (CRD) with 2 factorial replications by using 2 factors. Factor 1 is the concentration of sugar (5 %, 10 percent, 15 percent) and factor 2 is the proportion of cassava pasta and glutinous rice flour (80:20 %, 70:30 %, 60:40 %). The data were analyzed by using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test with the confidence level of 5 %, while the organoleptic test results were gathered by using the Hedonic Scale observation. Research results revealed that the best treatment of Dioscorea alata "dodol" was with the proportion of cassava pasta : glutinous rice flour of (80:20 %) with brown sugar 15 % concentration has a water content of 24.29 %, carbohydrate content of 63.45 %, protein content of 4.38 %, fat content of 5.41 %, ash of 0.41 %, and rough fiber 1.51 %, while the best treatment based on organoleptic has color assessment 3.85 (rather favorable), the aroma of 3.56 (rather favorable), taste of 3.60 (rather favorable), and texture (rather favorable), elasticity of 3.80 (rather favorable) and overall acceptance of 3.53 (rather favorable).
